Their music is so positive and their lyrics are an inspiration to have some sort of harmonic way of life. I grew up with this music and I think it helped me to be the good man I wan't to believe I'm, or at least, have the dessire to be. And for that, I thank Yes.

When I went with friends to see Yes Songs at a late show and this song came on-THAT was what made me decide I loved YES. Well maybe the girl with jet black hair, eyes like starlight, perfect smile and large 17 yr old breats sitting ther holding my hand had something to do with it too. Love pre -Relayer YES and even like Relayer, Going for the One and Tormato.

To this day of my 50+ years of carbon based existence on this planet,YES was & is still my inspiration.Along w/Star Trek, NASA and Science in Gen. I that feel all "Progressive-Rock" was really truly trying to get us all to expand our minds beyond, not just our planet, but the Universeas well...we have all fallen way behind and have a very long way to go, and time is quickly running out.

Every time i here this song it takes me back 30 years to a time when i was with the best people in my life. Living life.........loving it all. Summer lasted forever..........never worried about anything like today. Felt free and good. And this song reminds me of those great friends that sat around the fire with me on those long beautiful summer nights sharing a joint and a downing some beers and playing great tunes like tis one. Dont want to tell you my life story.........just share a memory.

Hey, 610920. I discovered "YES" and "Heavy Metal" at about the same time and also was impressed with how perfectly they worked together. Try this:
- Search "And You And I 2001 pt1"" at youtube.
- Open another browser window.
- Then search "MOEBIUS - DUAL ESCAPE [GMV]" at youtube and turn down the sound.

I saw YES many many times, pre-Moraz. They were always a joy. Not all rock is sweaty & back alley. Rock can be church, too.

1st time YES ever toured USA, I ran away from my friends, went backstage, (through the police), and met them. I asked Jon if he was ready to be the BIGGEST, BEST rock group EVER. (I was only 18), he drew me a pik of a man, within it another "soul" if you will. Then came Rick Wakeman, along with Brian Lane. I was totaLLY WIGGIN' OUT.

This was the first YES concert I attended. I fell in love with their music, my first album was Close to the Edge. This has always been my favorite song of their's. The last time I saw them do it was a few years ago, and they were still AWESOME! |
