This has NOTHING to do with UF any more than it does with freedom of speech. ACCENT is the group that sponsored the forum & set the rules. The rules were ONE question per person, a limited time to preface it & ANY use of obscenities would result in the mic being cut. Meyer CHOSE to break ALL of those rules AFTER the Q&A had been announced to be over & AFTER he'd already broken 2 laws & been given an undeserved chance at the mic. He could have asked any question that didn't violate the rules.

Like, you should ask the quest something NICE, like what's your FAVORITE COLOR.
If you ask something that the guest finds DIFFICULT to ANSWER, you get TASERED and arrested. UF has that kind of rules?

"they obviously didnt like what they heard so they took him down." Bullshit. Meyer CHOSE to ignore all of the forum rules & ACCENT chose to exercise their right to enforce them by cutting the mic. The Police were removing him, NOT arresting him. Not until he CHOSE to resist & try to get others to interfere with the Police. That's Resisting an Officer & Inciting a Riot & THAT is why he was arrested.
Also, didn't Thompson commit suicide or is that another conspiracy?

its still the fact that the government and anyone with a badge can basically do what they want when they want. they obviously didnt like what they heard so they took him down. he couldve just let them arrest him.....no tasering incident wouldve happened. still look at hunter s thompson..... same outcomes except hunter was killed

Itsasony, if it's possibly, stop being a fucking moron & actually read what people write to you. WATCH the fucking videos & read the information. The Police reports are readily available as are the eyewitness accounts & interviews with Meyer where he himself admits he didn't handle things correctly that day. That's a huge understatement but it's true. Meyer brought it all on himself by his actions. He DID deserve to be arrested & he CHOSE to be tased by CHOOSING to ignore their orders moron.
