Barbara was friends of the band since high school, hit and killed by a drunk driver on the way home from a show. She was an organ donor, donated her eyes and other organs. She is the angel who closes her eyes, the angel who opens her eyes is the recipient of Barbara's corneas. It's also supposed to show empathy for Barbara's mother who lost her daughter. It shows the circle of life, the old mother dies, a new baby is born. This was done as a dedication to her from the band.
