One of the most powerful yogis of our times ! Such was his grace that my father who was a drinker and smoker for 20 years just gave up the habit after his darshan ! We could'nt beleive it and had his darshan in 1980 in Delhi ! I was in 10th std then !! I am his devotee since then ! suffice to say that my 'vessel' is not sufficient to contain his grace in the form of Immense Love that he just gave, gave and gave!! Yugavatar would just be the right word to describe him !!

I recently met Wayne Dyer. We talked about Muktananda. Dr. Dyer said "Muktananda really had the magic". And indeed he did. All you have to do is read his words. They are transforming and amazing.

it's quite funny because i'm not sure anyone actually asked 'a polish born australian with a bachelor of philosophy who reads serious (not fanciful religious) philosophy books for pleasure' his opinion on Baba. though jazzbox111 too is Shiva in this incarnation he is masquerading as a particularly ignorant and arrogant mortal, mired in worldliness. what could such a one possibly know of the glory of the Sadguru.

muktananda baba was a great sidhaguru,he acted the way people wanted him to act in america.he wanted to give them his grace and he did.a sidaguru is beyond good and evil,he is shiva himself.a very rare sidha he was ,those who met him were lucky,such gurus dont come to the west any more.
