The video of the very first moon landing of the apollo 11 mission in 1969! Neil Armstrong was the first man to set foot on the moon with his now legenday words "One small step for man, a giant leap for mankind." This is a truly amazing video and it was in 1969!!! If you think about it, you have orders of magnitude more processing power in your mobile phone than they did in the whole space craft!! Incredible!

says an idiot who doesn't read shit and thinks books suck you think you're smarter than the guys in NASA? you do realize you being proud of not reading any books means you automatically classify yourself as a first class moron? hey,it's like you're not only an idiot but seem PROUD of it too don't ever open you ignorant mouth again

3 reasons y that is fake 1 there are hardly any stars in the backround 2 theres no air on the moon so how did the flag move and 3 if that happend in 1969 how come kno1 elese has been up there within 40 years so i think its fake

I know, Mr. Timrocket should have done a little research. =/

tim, I'm in my late 40s and I grew up in Florida. It's not unusual for me to follow what my friends and neighbors did for a living and to know something about it. I find it very amusing to hear what the rest of the world thinks about what I could watch out my front door. No, never worked for NASA.
LunarTuner (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
tim, at the point when the LM landed, its weight was 15,804 lb (on earth), 2,634 lbs. on the moon. That's how much downward force was needed. The LM hatch was opened only after it was pressurized. That means it's atmosphere was drained of any air and the pressure was equalized with the moon. The astronauts were plugged into the onboard life support system and then switched over to their portable PLSS.

timrocket2008, you have the internet at your fingertips, yet you can't find any source to explain that a toaster and a tub don't mix? The Soviets did not have a heavy-lift moon rocket like the US. The N-1 never successfully launched. This isn't new info. Watch it fail here: watch?v=umLMkhdf1_o

LordBrakensiek, the Space Shuttle and the ISS regularly pass through the Southern Atlantic Anomaly. It's a portion of the inner VAB. 3 to 5 times a day orbits take them through for about 15 minutes each pass. They don't die. They don't fry. They don't even get a sunburn.
