You´re right! Im studing cello and hear a lot of classic but too a lot of rock and metal. there are alot of very good emotional rock songs, but like you, I´m saing nothing can really beats such harmonic classical sounds.

One of the most beautiful classic songs I've heard in my life. The version I have is a bit different but still amazing nonetheless. Nothing beats classical in terms of feel and sound, and that's coming from someone who usually listens to anything from led zep to cannibal corpse.

I can say that I am one of the luck ones who has sung treble, alto and now bass in this piece. When sung at the right time in the catholic calander this is a truely amazing piece. In an all male voice choir it is so hard to get the trebles to that top note, when it works it takes your breath away...
