Yeah I know. The 6.4L are complete diesel hogs. But if you put and Allison Tranny in there, and a Cummins or a 7.3L Powerstroke... that thing will be one tank!

if you ever get that truck, do a DPF delete. Guaranteed and extra 5-8 MPG increase. Then you wont have to worry about reburn mode which burns MORE Fuel, and that is one less emission system to fail. Good luck, it is WORTH the money.

I really do like the looks of the F450! If it wasnt for Navistar's Engine; the 6.4L design with 2 turbos, you would see one sitting in my driveway. I'd like to take one of those and put in the old 5.9 cummins mated to the allison tranny. That would be the best truck ever made. Lets face it, you cant beat the cummins and the allison tranny!

that guy with the f350 has a nice truck but he should have got it in diesel to get that extra torque to spin those huge tires but its still a nice truck |
