prob,
Now you know why apostate Israel stoned their prophets...
"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen [doth gather] her brood under [her] wings, and ye would not!" (Lu 13:34)
AND why they wanted Jesus Christ DEAD and GONE.
BUT, God sees beyond the follies of men.
:-O

Sorry about the spelling error,

Hitchens is a huge hypocrite. He supported G W Bush like no other, a man who did many horrible things in the name of religion. Also if you go back and find some of his ealier opinions he seems like even more of a douchebag who will say anything to make a quick buck. It's sad that this depressed drunken loser has come to be one of the biggest voices against religion. Fight hypocracy with hypocracy I guess.

Gladly. "Double blind" means that both the conductor and the subject of an experimental trial are unaware of what is being tested, thus eliminating all possible bias. It is typically employed to test the efficacy of drugs compared to placebos. I cannot speak for all atheists, nor all scientists, but I have yet to hear any convincing argument to support belief in the supernatural.

Please explain how bias and presuppositions are eliminated by this little thing called a double blind study and how does this effect the atheistic presuppositional worldview, because that is what we are discussing here isn't it? Atheistic presuppositions, which Atheist need to survive and attempt to give intellectual credence to their position?

Bias and presupposition are eliminated by a little thing called the double blind study, which you would already know if you had the slightest inkling of the mechanics of the scientific method.
miket1m (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
There is no proof for the non existence of God. Stating there is no God is a universal negative which is 100% impossible to prove. Atheism is illogical and intellectually indefensible.

Science is not an entity. Science is what scientists do. It's the scientists who change and none of them are without bias or their own presuppositions by which they judge theories and interpret information.

As usual, the quotation from scripture automatically becomes the default rejoinder of the deluded zealot who has lost the ability to think for himself.

philo,
God sets the methodology wherein you are judged on "proof" assessments..
"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:" (Ro 1:20)
Thus, seek shelter in Christ.
You'll be safe....finally.
