That's just how stupid you and other brain-warped Mercuns are. Before the Empire imposed a new wave of [anti-Constitutional] Reconstruction against Dixie, the Negro and Southern Americans got along fine. The began when Jews and other Yankee meddlers came down here and stirred up trouble. If there is to be a hanging, it should be hugobos1, with new rope!

The band today is not the classic Lynyrd Skynryd - they have a pretty good song but they are professionals impersonating the DIXE BAND that was LYNYRD SKYNRYD. The Confederate Flag was always prominent at concerts in my youth. Nowadays the band is politically correct so as to not offend our Marxist masters at the District of Corruption and those others who hate Dixie and its Christian folk.

The song is supportive of Gov. George C. Wallace. Yes, everybody loved the governor (and his stand against the Empire at the "schoolhouse door." "boo boo boo" refers to the Yankees, Carpetbaggers and Scalawags as if to say "WE don't care what you think" and really, truly - the Southern Man don't need the Marxist Jew Neil Young around anyhow. "We did all that we could do" refers to those who supported Gov. Wallace in the face of increased "Reconstruction" of Dixie during the 1950s/1960s.

This concert and "ONE MORE FROM THE ROAD" from the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, has to be the 2 ultimate Skynyrd concerts, true to form. Even through the years, the changes that have happened, seeing them for my 25th concert last saturday in Indianapolis, the music continues, but why in the hell are they the opening act for kid rock? total bullshit!!!!!!!!!

I doubt that. This song was written against the "racist"-cliché people have of the south. He says @ 2:20 "there's good people in Alabama" and they "BOO" the governor (who, yes, is racist) and the people who support him (Birmingham).

??? Are you nuts? Alabama and Belgium have amazing sceneries! What about the Shoals? What about Wallonia? Anyway, skies are an important part of a scenery, unless you're from somewhere where it rains too much that you hadn't noticed!
