Agree, it's pretty hilarious :P Considering they are trance Djs. But the worst thing about this video is the DJs total lack of emotion. Go watch some vids of Alex Kidd (although I don't like his music) and you'll see how a DJ really gets the crowd going. These two hardly move ...

that comment of someone building over others hard work is bullshit...electronic dance music is a movement, 80's, 90's, the new decade, all of them are different ages and different stages...we can't even say it's about decades, music moves in phases, that's why all of the heads such as Sasha & Digweed share music tastes and sets sound very similar.

What are you trying to say here that all djs play the exact same style? Go watch andrew weatherall, francois kevorkian or the optimo djs and tell me that. Erol alkan is good i've seen him a few times and always enjoyed it but he is no where near the best not even close- he has become a pin-up boy for emo induced nu rave teenagers.

yeah but now every dj copies the other, there is no "variety" in sets, u go see steve lawler, its minimal with a tint of this, u go see dickweed, its minimal with a tint of that, its no better, people are playing good records but built upon other people's hard work discovering

Wont disagree with that but it doesn't mean that alkan could never play a trance record. He plays a lot of different style's. Dj's should play any genre they see fit, restrictive musical policies made dance music stale which is why it's good that dj's are now playing across the board.
