This band would be so much better if they didn't play this melodic death metal stuff and tried a different genre like prog metal. Their drums and vocals are amazing but those guitars and that bass couldn't be more annoying. It's like they try too hard.

its about someone who doesnt want suicide but knows its an easy way out. he wants God to give him something concrete to give him stability "make me want to stand up for whatever" and hes tired of trying to figure things out for himself and is giving himself to God in my opinion "Make me understand youre there for me. Take this life." "I call upon you to take me on" thats my perspective. but then again "God" could just be a specific person in this song

Look at the movie and listen to the lyrics. It IS about people who want to commit suicide, but it says to look at the bright side basically.
