I watched a Crow playing with a golf ball on the roof of our admin building on our base, it would get the ball drop it on the roof and then fly down and wait for it to pop out of the down pipe from the roof... Then a few weeks later there were about 10 crows all dropping these golf balls down the roof into the gutter and drain pipe... should have taken the balls off them and rewarded them with food and sold the balls back to the golfers lol...

Birds are very smart. My macaw often unlocks his own cage, then proceeds to unlock and release our African Grey's cage, who is the one that one knows how to open the treat drawer and the party is on.
Crows have some of the most structured and tightly knit social structures of all animals. Researchers have found that they even have behaviors that appear to be rituals to mourn their dead.

Very cool, think it would take sometime for the general public to get used to the idea but I'm all for it!

I *love* crows! There are a lot of them where I live. I never throw away left-overs, etc. I put them out for the crows. They eat just about anything.
And it's true...they recognize me even if I have on a hat, shades, different clothes, big coat... whatever, and start begging when I go out to get in my car, lol.
Native American folklore says the crow is clever and a bit naughty, but an ally. An interesting fact: a flock of crows is actually called a "murder"!
Great vid! 5*s and Faved.

We obviously can't get rid of them, so why not try and use them. Nice!
