My dad is a voly in Huntly, although he didn't attend the fire, many of his mates did. FF are true heros, they run in when we run out, saving lives everyday. R.I.P Derek. All FF are heros, no matter what part of the job you do, voly or full time. Thank you for all that you do.

Great video mate. My thoughts are with the family of Derek Lovell and the Fire Service Family after the loss of Derek and the injuries inflicted on the 7 other crew members. Derek was a hero as is every single other fire fighter. You run in when we can't run out you put yourselves in danger so we can be safe you are heroes each and every one of you. Thank you for the work you have done and the work you continue to do for your communities. You are all REAL HEROS you are all my Heroes.

Thank you for this. Very well put together and appropriate sound track. I did 8 years non-operational in the NZFS and one coolstore fire was enough for me.
