Simultaneously this mother fucker has been burning and dying for 5 years. NOw that he is beefing with the city it seems that there are ties coming his way that he is passing yp. I guess he knows that giving power is taking lives. Nobody is going to control me and we laty low but all in all you have to get reddemption. You're not the only one who thinks so. BIG rapped about the same shit everyone complains about bitches, hoes, money etc. Pac lyrically wasn't as good as other greats but he was very inspirational which took him along ways. His music was all around the place. I mean one minute we have a poetic song then we have "I fuck your bitch" type shit. Of course this is my opinion as well. But none of them are as overrated as Jay-Z but that's for another time

I definately feel you, I feel the sameway about JAY-Z. I Do think he's amazing, but a lot of people seem to follow the hype. From Pac-Biggie-JayZ. I feel they are all magical people. What I mean is these are guys that we needed in this world. The Big and Pac era, they were the only Rappers with superstar status. Now the market is open for guys like Shawty Lo who have absolutely nothing to say but are actually making money.

REMEMBER DEADER DOESNT MAKE THEM BETTER. alot of you fail to really analyze some emcees and decide to just take others words for who the best is, with no research of your own, ILL SAY IT, BIG AND PAC overrated, thats just me, and you may argue and i welcome your argument,u need outstanding proof of the factors i listed, now if you think theyre the best.. good for you, i just hope you think this because you actually beleive it and not because everyone else has been saying it. as well as all the other factors. now im not gonna get on here and list the best emcees, personally i dont believe on the "best emcee" concept, there is no such thing..and alot of your choices i would disagree with,and i would actually have a basis, trust me i can make an argument when it come to this, but this is not the point, the point is we will never completly agree on this subject. however i will tell you, NAS is in my top 10, ask me for a list of great emcess in no order.

cats. now dont get me wrong, they were REALLY good emcees, trust me i used to be obssesed with Pac and i love BIG, but, there are ways of measuring an emcee's skill, you have to look for wordplay,map rhymeschemes,lyricism(really big),message. theres thousands of emcees and a few excel on these factors even better than BIG and PAC, so how can you say these two are unsisputed when it comes to who is best? not only that remember these cats were very mainstream and their flows were watered down
