cool man the only things i get to rescue are ants i've since childhood strained lots of friendships (including female pals) because i get furious when someone kills an ant which innocently crawled over them

Actually - yes - i do that all the time - lol. Drive the wife nuts sometimes when i let the snake i catch loose - couple of weeks ago helped a bat that she told me to kill - set it free - she asked why and i told her the things eat the skeeters so i like them plus he looked healthy, good coat and nice bright teeth - hell - way home last night i rescued a turtle out of the road - thing was on the line so i pulled over and got him or her out of the road and walked it to the creek and set it free

Its not that people are standing without helping. Local authorities were called for help, who were in turn engaged in the rescue operation. People were not allowed to go close to the site, which we can see in the video (the police controlling the people from going near).
