Flim Flam and Susan Blinks scored a 71.72 in this Grand Prix Class at the 2002 United States Equestrian Team Dressage Selection Trials for the 2002 World Equestrian Game, held in Gladstone New Jersey in June 2002. They finished 3rd overall in the competition, a place on the US Team and went on to win a Team Silver at the 2002 WEG in Spain. The Hanoverian gelding was owned by Fritz Kundrun. The retired Olympic Flim Flam died in 2004 at age 17. "Flim was the horse of a lifetime for me," Blinks said. "I am an incredibly lucky person to have shared a career with a horse of such talent and personality. He was extremely happy during his short and well-deserved retirement; it is so very sad that he didn't get to enjoy it longer." Flim Flam and Susan Blinks competed in numerous international dressage team competitions, including: 1998 World Equestrian Games in Rome, Italy; 2000 Sydney, Australia Olympics (team bronze); and 2002 World Equestrian Games in Jerez, Spain (team silver).

Lovely horse, and a good performance. The wobbliness of the video was a little disorienting, admittedly...

The music for the tempis was so incerdibly perfect! It must have been a thrill riding that so perfectly on. Piaffe is very flat and ot very engaged, travles a lot, disapointing for me. It can be the tradeoff for our modern dressage horses, more extension, poorer collected work.
