what an awesome awesome leader the last sweeper ! he was one of the main reasons that helped Milan hit that rich vein of form the only sweeper i see now(in england) is david wheater LOL! but lets see even if he becomes half as good as baresi, he will be great

I have asked that many times..It is split..Juvenntus fans obviously will say scirea..AC milan will say baresi..Fact is, baresi is a sweeper..If scirea wasnt still playing football he wouldve been included in the team..But since he was still there baresi was left out..Obviuously because the coach and italy believe scirea is better..And besides baresi was later on so most people will know him more since most people that saw scirea are dead or are all old now..I dont care about both..I like nesta

Listen to me...if u don't know anything about the history of football shut up..the only reason because in 1982 Baresi didn't play was that the A.c. Milan was i second division and the fuckin idiot Beazort wanted Baresi to play as a midfielder...if you are so clever, ask to everybody "Who was the best italian sweeper of every time"...I think everybody'll say BARESI!!!

Man, 1978, baresi was able to play..He was good enough to play but italy opted to leave him out cause they had scirea..U dont know ur own italian football if ure italian..And then 1982 baresi made the team but he was a sub to guess who? Scirea. Scirea was a libero/sweeper also. Besides Scirea and baresi are considered equal because they are both known as "one of the greatest defender to ever play the game". Scirea would be better since he was the reason baresi didnt start when he was 22..he- 30

It's not true!!!You're a fuckin' lier!!Baresi was the best of every time and he didn't play when there was Scirea only because he was too young...Baresi ruled, rules and will rule for ever!!!
