Naud1234 every O/S has that function lol. a viri is a script that behaves like a real life virus. you can change an extention of a file, ''.exe'' but this is no way a viri batch files arent good at being a viri because they can't spread very well. their just scripts executing operating system command lines. however i seen some batch files having some real complex functions, but this video is lame, and omg soooo old!

I agree. but most of the code in viruses cannot be run in linux simply because most viruses and other harmfull programs use certain Windows components in order to run. I dont think there are many Linux viruses but I may be wrong. lol

TGZ is just slackware linux package format. Every distro has its own package management, but Linux can run executables, every file can be made executable just doing chmod +x. So i can argue that you don't know what you're talking about.

I don't? hm.. you should explain what it is used for then we can decide who is right and wrong. otherwise don't bother to respond to my comments if you are just going to tell me I am wrong without correcting me.

Fucking lame lol. my ass thats a viri lol. its just a Batch script that runs a DOS command, and tells the computer to reboot lmaooo. if that was a viri worst viri ever lol, a viri is a script that changes how other programs behave and spreads and multiplies, and cannot survive with its host ''executables'' btw linux can be hacked just install rootkits on its server, and gain access ;)

its not impossible. its just really hard. I have hacked a Linux OS before but I spend almost a year of studying the Linux core and exactly how it works before I figured out how to. of course now they have patched up this mistake in the Linux core so sadly it cannot be recreated. :( the only reason Linux is almost impossible to hack is because it cannot run executable files by itself so the virus has to be made by hand in TGZ format and they have to run it as it wont run by itself. xD

its called VBS or VBE but it is not part of notepad in itself it is just an extention. It is not ment to make viruses, it is designed to automate tasks.

why is there a function in windows notepad to make a virus?
