The Porsche GT-1 is going to spank every Nurburgring record out there when it comes out. It will be a 960HP street legal LeMans car. Porsche estimates it's top speed at 260+MPH which will make it the fastest production car ever made.

LoL at the GTR fans! They lose to both the ZR1 AND the Viper ACR, and all they can do is come up with some weak sauce, sour grapes griping about how the ZR1 or Viper is lighter, and has more horsepower, blah, blah, blah. WELL, NO SH*T, SHERLOCK! LIGHER WEIGHT+ AND MORE HORSEPOWER, what a surprise! THATS CALLED "WINNING", try it sometime! Don't confuse it with what you do, that's called "whining" GTR fans "whine", ZR1 and Viper ACR owners "Win". Get that straight!

I wouldnt say its a skyline rip off, but yah it goes against everything the NSX stood for, Mid engine, RWD that looked like a Ferrari. xD

WWARGH OMG WTF the new NSX is an insult to the old one. It looks horribly clumsy. It has the enigine in the front and AWD. C'mon! It's just a Skyline rip off.

incorrect, dyno test estimate 500bhp, and it was a standard gt-r. Handtimed by spectators, the v-spec proto which has "550hp" as nissan claims and is lighter did it in roughly 7:25. long time ago. The team still is working on it. the 7:29 was a normal gtr. But in all honesty, if with even a 121 extra hp and so much less weight it didnt manage anything special. Yes it doesnt have awd, but cmon. Its so much lighter. and more powerful and has fatter tires.

the car used was a test car for the v-spec that had 595 horse power and weighed less than the stock gtr not to mention it should handle better since it has the power of awd, so yeah "big achievement duh!! lol |
