Hey nice sluice. im over on vancouver island, gonna try my luck at some sluicing. i just built my own. wish i could buy one but gotta get some gold to do that first. good luck on your next outing

Hi, I have the same super mini sluice. I removed the first riffle and installed 3m nomad blue miners moss instead of the keene ribbed carpet. the extra space lets the fines settle in better and I'm getting more production out of it now.
It also helps when you classify the material with screens before you put it in the sluice but that is a lot of extra work. But, you don't have to disturb the riffles to remove rocks as much.

you're not feeding it right, try pouring the dirt from a bucket and not "splashing" it on there. You got it next time.
