Ok, ok, i have to admit: big emotions on that Goran' win, in 2001! Indeed, lost 3 times before, and it was his last chance.. Unbelievable the double-foults on match-points.. the famous Ivanisevic-nerves.. But he did it.. Great moment!

I'd even put yesterday's behind. You knew Ivanišević and likely Rafter were playing the last match of their career, the last Wimbledon and after knowing Goran lost 3 times in the finale, and it was a victory greater than life. Goran, I love you.

This was THE MOST EMOTIONAL match in recent Wimbledon history. Even better than the classic 2008 Federer vs Nadal final. Everyone had written Goran off as an 'almost-was'. Too erratic & emotional. Past his peak in the late 90's blocked by Agassi and Sampras. And he proved them all wrong being the only player to ever win as a wild card. AND BOY DID HE FIGHT FOR IT. He beat Roddick, Rusedski, Safin, Henman, & Rafter, some of the best performers of recent years on the way. WE MISS YOU GORAN
