Honestly, I agree that getting cheated out of your hard earned money sucks. I don't cheat because I don't like being at the opposite end, but at the same time, you shouldn't be gambling with money you don't have to lose so that when this does happen (because it always does,) you can afford to lose.

It was 750,000. Also, he never withdrew it. According to Absolute poker, he was in a top position of security and did this purposefully to prove a fault in the system's security.

all these people we see here who is keep swearing at him are sad mother fuckers and the only reason they keep saying this and the other to this person is because they didn't get to do it and they couldn't do it. well, let me tell you something people: Make your fucking brain work and work hard on it and study a lot and you will be able to do it even better than him. now instead of swearing at anyone go and think how you can make some money not loosing it in the poker rooms and casinos.

It looks likely that some hands are missing from the hand history, around the time he changes tables (and we stop seeing his cards)....and/or a lot of people busted at once on the other table?
JanB737 (July 3, 2008 at 7:36 am)
That's because he had you on a draw, raised your bluff with the best hand, you reraised with nada. He just correctly put you on a range of hands. A semi-bluff needs another card coming. A good player knows what range of hands you can have, and whether you might bluff/reraise a big pot at limit. Maybe you've done it before and the guy was paying attention or found stats on you. Limit is not the same animal as no-limit. He was just lucky one of your busted diamonds wasn't the J.
