The Tomcat was the greatest Navy plane of all time. The capability to carry the Phoenix missle scared the crap out of bad guys world wide. I saw them all lined up at the boneyard at Davis-Monthan AFB before scrapping them. It was a sad sight to behold. The last one I saw was a VF-74 Bedeviller. That was a sad day.
