The reason i posted that he was insane and paranoid though was not because of people starving i was simply stating the fact that he allowed at least 1 million to be butchered during WW2 in Poland (the Warsaw uprising) you can look that up its pretty in depth then look up Stalins purges IE ( the Great Purge) in which he had hundreds of thousands killed and some state it may have been millions

Sorry kevbo, but the millions were killed because The USSR was attempting to win a public-image war with the US. Don't have enough food to feed everyone? Then quietly execute & bury peasant villages, & then film some documentary footage of happy, well-fed Ukrainians. I'm not defending it, and I'm not saying it's right, but in the future, try to UNDERSTAND the forces of history. Simply saying that millions died because Stalin was "insane" and "paranoid" is a cop-out.
