This song is absolutely amazing, one of those which reflect the mentality of the people. I could't agree that it is a communist or Red Army song. The lyrics express the patriotism of the Russian solider who, in a distant battle field, dreams of coming home. It is not easy to be the Russian solider because his task has always been the same: to change the course of history and save the world...
