you push it up so it keepstension on it ( like push it the way you would turn the key) the tension wrench adds a way to make it easier to pick a lock. so try different pressures on it

you dont need a tention wrench you can use the sharp thing off of a nail trimer

its the 3 pins. most have 4 or 3 so your almost there!
keep trying and make sure you push them ALL the way up. use a little more pressure on the pick and a little less pressure on the wrench. just experiment with the pressures and you will find a happy medium =P
