Vassar was great but Benny Martin was the man his version of OBS is the best. His fiddling on the Flatt and Scruggs columbia sessions is unmacthed.

I beg to disagree. My daughter plays both styles, and so do a lot of her friends who were taught in the classical discipline. It's a matter of choice.
