Well of course. James Dobson is all about winning, even if it means lying. How ironic and oxymoronic...a lying Pastor.

The law given to the ancient Hebrews had very specific commands, all of which dealt with physical wrong doing to be met with physical punishment. This was their duty in their covenant with God. Once Christ came on the scene, a new set of commandments were issued as part of a new covenant that Christ founded. These commandments were of a spiritual nature with spiritual consequences because in dealing with Christ, man was able to transcend to a level of spirituality that was previously denied him.

Where does it say that?

No just responding to Antitheistguy's "read the Bible" Comment. I can't remember who said it, but "there's nothing wrong with a 5th grade understanding of God as long as you're in the 5th grade." I would love to have him try to argue with a real theologian like Dr Robert Wall of Seattle Pacific University.

. And does that mean I have to give up shrimp too? Oh well, I guess I am going to hell for that shrimp platter last night. I guess someone has to pick and choose what everybody else believes- so much for thinking for yourself.

"Aren't you supposed to kill people who work on Sunday- according to the Bible? ..." Uhm, are you talking to me?
Blacklab1 (August 11, 2008 at 9:44 pm)
Aren't you supposed to kill people who work on Sunday- according to the Bible? Boy! It makes me wonder how many people are going to be left if the conservatives kill all the people that the Bible tells them to kill- according to their conservative Bible. Thank whoever above that someone got some common sense and stop just because thinking. Just one thing, does that mean the conservatives have to kill their own preachers for working on Sunday? This just get's so confusing.
