yeah my mum did too, but she was not serious about it at all.. she said it as a joke because I was not fat at all. But I relly really believed that she was serious about it. I found out she wasn't when it was too late...I'm recovering now, but please, dont get to the point you need recovery...stay healthy..sorry I had to say that cause what you wrote was excactly what I thought a year ago

I can never understand why people rave about this advert. I suffered anorexia for nearly 30 years and never once did I have such distorted ideas about my size and shape. In fact, I could see I was very thin. I know of many anorexics who are well aware of their thinness but remain anorexic because the behaviours make them feel in control of their lives. In my opinion anorexia is about control; not vanity or a desire to look good, or even to be very thin.

Why is it that with any other business they produce what the customer wants, but with fashion we do what the fashion industry tells us because they aren't skilled enough to make their clothes look nice on anything but a straight up and down coat hanger type person? I've never seen a fashion designer who looks anything like the type of models they use anyway.
