Your video is very clear and easy to understand! I do have a question though. Since doing a knit row is like doing a purl row for right handers, when I'm reading a pattern should I left hand knit when it says purl and left hand purl when it says knit? I learned how to knit right handed but I'm now wondering if knitting left handed will put less strain on my left hand so that's I want to try this method.

I was forced to learn right-handed (I'm a proud lefty), but I want to learn how to knit left-handed. I'll be an ambidextrous knitter :).

The DVD is due Friday! I'm picking up the final copy today from the producer. see leftoutknitter dot com for information. In the DVD I demonstrate 2 left-handed knitting methods. One is with the leading leg on the back (like this YouTube video) and the other is with the leading leg on the front. From cast-on to bind off and several increases, decreases tips and tricks are thrown in there. The next DVD will have cables, socks and lace work!

I have a number of friends who are left-handed and have a difficult time knitting right-handed using either the Continental (my personal favorite) or English method. After working a left-handed swatch, I decided to search for left-handed knitting videos and found yours. Great job! Now I can help them out without pushing the right-handed method. :)

Yes thank you I left handed and I knit! Your videos are so clear(clearer then books because most books I am sorry to say are geared more towards right handed knitter) No offense to right handed knitters they just have it allot easier then left handed knitters. Anyway hope you come out with more videos and let me know about the book or dvd that you plan to make(when it is done and how much it is). Again thank you so much!

Goodness, you're quite welcome. I gather you knit and are left handed? Are there other videos you would like? I am working on a book as well, but might try a DVD inlieu of a book as so many of us are visual learners.
