lets face it the american cars can only go in straight lines, besides every one of these gtr's will be unique. the problem is IF (i cant stress that word enough) something goes wrong (transmission etc) your screwed

#1 Nissan has a HUGE manufacturing facility in Smyrna Tennessee and employs thousands of American workers. #2 Obama has nothing to do with GM or Ford. These "patriotic" manufacturers will take your tax money provided to through the auto industry bailout bill, and they will expand their operations in China, due to the fact that the Chinese are put close to 10,ooo cars on the road per day due to the high demand.

acutally, i looked up a few pro racers that know what the problem was. it's transmission related but it's not the transmission itself. A guy gave me a comment letting me know that ford and chev are soon to collapse now that obama's president. I'll go look it up for you. As for the gtr vs vette. I won't debate with you about it. I understand your passion for domestic pushrod v8's but USA also had a role in the development of the gtr. Be proud of it. And why say that japan hates our country??

The problem is the transmission. Go to mnfbody forums under GTR problems and you can read it for yourself.

#1. Here you go smart guy! This is site will tell you how it all works. #2. GM isn't the only company going out of business now that Nobama is president, all companies will be going under. #3. The only problem I have with the GTR is that it is a foreign car that has problem and you all still believe that they are the best. I don't get it! I would never give up on my CHEVY. As I have said before, I would rather give my money to an American auto maker than support a country that hates us.

actually now that obamas president, chev's going out of business. You sound like you know something about the gtr. no you don't. the transaxel is the only thing that can go wrong with it, genius. And man named Ed Hellwig did a report about the gtr that he has. It turns out they didn't have to sing a waiver if they used it. Nor would it void the warranty. Do research. All of your information is incorrect. You just heard it from rumor. Why is it that you don't like the gtr??

lol it's funny how you say that, comparing a import to an exotic supercar. 30K more. and wait, their company's going out of business. pretty sad. Nissan gtr can do a faster launch, the only problem that can go wrong with it so far is the trans axel which can easily be replaced. The vette stops quicker due to foreign brakes. congrats. it stopped 10 feet before a car that weighs much more. Great job vette! Keep in mind of the gtr v-spec that's coming out soon. The zr1 wont stand a chance...

throw a smaller supercharger pully on the zr1 and then you will see 0-60 in 2.8
