Yes, it was about a pennyweight if I remember right. Proline has a nice sluicebox design that should do well retaining fine gold. The dredge I'm using in the video is a custom built 6 inch using some Keene parts and Terry Stapp's custom sluice and wet suit heaters amoung other custom gear. Nice nugget...looked to be about 1-2 dwt? I have a 4 inch proline that I mess around with in creeks in Indiana. Largest nugget I have recovered so far was 0.6 grams, which is HUGE for glacial drift gold. |
