I remember watchin revenge of the nerds part II when it came out. Licence to Ill had been out for a minute. At the time, being 12 years old, I was sure that the dude in the movie was in fact one of the beasties, especially when he raps at the end. It's interesting to find out that he was actually down with them. Does anyone know his connection? Was he really the beasties' friend or were they just lumped/forced together by the media?

Where's the bit about his father. It was insane. Everything was "ya see barry that's how they get cha" and so on.When I was a kid you had handfull of quality acts the rest was recycled or "formula" comedy. This guy was original and would have you dyin.

Thanks for letting me know about the greatest hits of Barry Sobel. I never saw that movie with Julia Roberts. That was a lot of fun. Search on you tube for
