hypnotism is just a connection of speach patterns and kino (patterns in touch). If you're interested in learning more about this is a more practical way, first read, "The Game" and then find books by Ross Jeffries, he's a very talented Pick-up-artist that uses kino and speach patterns to pick up women... in my opinion it's wrong; but clever all the same.
