I love rhis!! My father, Frank Melrose,(deceased since 41) was a piano player in the 30's and 40's, He and Jelly were good friends,,my dad's playing reflects of lot of influence from Morton. Great pianists, both of them!!!

What a load of codswallop! Have you never heard "Perfect Rag" or "Grandpa's Spells" by Jelly Roll???? He could pick the piano up with one hand and play with the other!!! He was one of the greatest pianists of his generation (and that's saying something).
