surely the process of domanant genetic mutation would speed up if people just kept throwing themselves off tall buildings,Hmmm or maybe just thinking that you were 100% going to fall and die and then being saved at the last possible moment by.. the ground opening up to reveal a huge air bag and this hapening to enough people who never told anyone else that they would be saved at the last moment would trick the body into developing wings if the falling people tried to flap there arms hard enough.

interesting question. i'm sure jetpacks are the quickest solution. according to evolution it'd take a lot of millions of years for us to evolve into flying people.
