the best definition for music i've ever seen is that music is whatever you listen with the genuine intention of listening to music. Very subjective, but better than definitions like: melody harmony and rythm.. xD

Actualy heavey metal gets alot of its influences from blues anyways. im personaly a metal fan, but i liek to listen to the music genres that later became the fathers of the genre i lvoe today.
