akuma doesent hate ryu. ryu is akuma's son. why do u think in street fighter alpha generation, the martial artist that took care of ryu said "a martial arts master named gouken be 4 he died left a child named ryu under my care and he made me promise to not let the child follow in the fathers path of the dark hadou" (he was explaining this 2 ken). in the end wen ryu battled gouki. gouki stated "u r a worthy opponent my son" and then he left. ryu was in shock
