Yes you can dredge in only a few inches of water, and soon the hole becomes deeper and diving gear is needed to work further down. Refered too as "long arm dredging" when the water is not deep enough for diving gear.

Thanks Riverbender.....feel free to pass the videos/links around to those who might like to know more about it. The fish actually love to hang near the nozzle and or near the tailing (dump off) as we stir the natural sediment from the creek which has an entire buffet of food for them!

what is with the fish always being courious when your dredging? if fish could talk and say " over here" thats where the gold is boy!

Thanks CP! Excellent views of the "REALITY" of dredging! Having used up to 5" dredges, in both creeks and rivers, I attest to the fact that fish love dredges and their resultant discharge. Riverbender
