I too rode Space Mountain with the lights on. The ride broke down when I was going thru the first part(the tunnels). Then when I got back to port, the cast member told everyone to remain in the car to ride through Space Mountain again. It was neat with the lights on (different).

it said that the carts were getting too close to eachother so they had to turn on the lights so they could see what was going on...
